Return Policy

We are committed to your satisfaction. Returning a product can be stressful on customers, so we’re here to help you get it right the first time. Our talented product experts are available to help you select the right product for your needs and application. We encourage you to take advantage of our expertise before making your purchase.

If a return is necessary, your sales associate can help facilitate the return. To start the return process, call or email us at (802) 773‑4292 or email us through our Contact Us page. Policies and procedures for obtaining a return authorization vary based on the reason for return. See below for more information. All returns or exchanges must have prior approval from manufacturers.

Returns

  • All returns must be made within 48 hours of delivery or pick up.
  • Returned product(s) must be in original unopened packaging.
  • For current and stockable products, with unopened packaging, a minimum restocking fee of $50 will apply.
  • For any unused product(s) with open packaging, that are both current and stockable, the product(s) will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Defective Products

Most of our products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. See your product literature or speak with one of our product experts for details. If your product is defective upon arrival, please notify us of the problem within 48 hours of receiving goods. If you notice the defect after 48 hours of receiving goods, please contact the product’s manufacturer directly. Contact information for the manufacturer is included in the product literature. NOTE: Most manufacturers require at least one service call to diagnose the problem.

Damaged Products

Product(s) damaged during shipping are eligible for exchange at no charge to you. Upon delivery or pick up, make sure to inspect your product for damage. If the product is damaged, you have the right to refuse. We will contact you to schedule another delivery or pick up time. A damage allowance may be authorized if damage is cosmetic and does not affect performance. Damage allowances will vary. Special Order

Special orders are final sale, please make sure the product being ordered is correct.

The Product Does Not Meet Your Needs

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you will need to contact the store regarding any cancellation or return. Delivered products in use are not returnable. Any returned products must be free of any cosmetic damage. Products that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for return or may incur a restocking fee. Any product that has been installed or attempted to be installed cannot be returned. Shipping and handling charges from our warehouse are non‑refundable. Customers are responsible for shipping charges incurred when returning a product.

The customer agrees to the terms and conditions published above when they place a completed order with our company. In addition, the customer authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.

Refunds will be handled according to our store’s policies. Please Contact Us for a copy of our store’s policies.

Warehousing and Payments

A minimum of a 50% deposit is required to order products. All balance must be paid in full prior to delivery or within 30 days of arrival to our onsite warehouse. Customers will be informed once full orders arrive at our onsite warehouse. Once full orders are onsite, customers will be given 30 days of additional storage at no additional cost, provided the balance is paid in full. After 30 days of onsite storage, storage fees may apply. Speak to your sales representative about storage fees. Orders will have a maximum storage time of 3 months.

Shipping Policy

Please be assured that your items will ship out as soon as possible from the date of purchase. If a special order is placed, please anticipate a longer delivery time. You will be notified once the item has been received in our warehouse. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Credit card authorization and verification must be received prior to processing. Mandatory shipping charges will be applied out of warranty parts from our service department, products ordered from our tile & design showroom and qualifying appliances, please speak with your sales representative for more information.

Delivery Policy

Please ensure that all passageways leading to the installation area are free of obstacles that could delay delivery or create a safety hazard. This includes keeping the driveway and entrance clear of building materials, ice, snow, mud, furniture, and other debris. Any necessary home modifications—such as removing door jambs, casings, moldings, cabinets, or ceilings—must be completed prior to the arrival of our delivery team. If needed, our team can remove standard doors to allow for delivery; however, Best Appliance & Kitchens cannot assume responsibility for any damage that may occur as a result of this service. Please refer to the videos on our Services page for details.

Drop off deliveries are to the driveway, garage or porch/deck on ground level only. These locations must be easily accessible. Units are not uncrated.

For appliance removal or relocation, please note that we do not transport or reinstall old appliances at another address. Best Appliance assumes no responsibility for damage to appliances being removed or replaced, nor for any items left inside those appliances. Before removal, all contents must be cleared, and any standing water (such as in washers or dishwashers) must be fully drained.

Only new parts and accessories, such as electrical cords, water lines, hoses and dryer venting etc.will be used for installation by Best Appliance. These accessories must be purchased from Best Appliance & Kitchens. We will not reuse existing water lines, vents or electrical cords.

Best Appliance will level your new appliance to the existing floor surface, however, we will not place blocks, shims, etc, under the wheels or feet of any appliance in order to achieve a leveled appliance. Please lay down flooring protection prior to arrival.

Ranges

  • Electric Ranges: The manufacturer does not provide a new 220V electrical cord with new electric ranges. With the purchase of a new cord and it is the proper length, we will attach it and plug it in, set the range in place, and the level the range. Delivery teams are not permitted to "hard wire" an electric range nor use an old cord to install the new range.
  • Gas ranges: must be installed and converted by a licensed gas technician.

Laundry

  • Washers: Our delivery team will set your new washer in place, connect the new hoses (4 foot or 6 foot) to your existing hot and cold water supply faucets, hang the drain hose on your drain within manufacturer recommendation, and level the machine to your existing floor surface. Wood pallets and cement blocks are not suitable surfaces for proper performance of your machine.
  • Electric Dryers: The manufacturers do not provide a new 220V electrical cord with electric dryers. If you purchase a new appropriate cord (both in length and type) at the point of sale our delivery team will attach the new cord, plug it in to an appropriate accessible 220V outlet, set the dryer in place, and level the dryer to the existing floor surface. We will not "HARD WIRE" an electric dryer or use an old cord to install the new dryer.
  • Gas Dryers: Gas dryers must be installed and converted by a licensed gas technician and will need an appropriate conversion kit. This conversion will be provided to you by Best Appliance or can be obtained directly though the manufacturer. Best Appliance & Kitchens delivery teams will use new UL certified dryer vent from the back of the unit to the existing venting provided the existing venting is of adequate length, diameter, lint-free, and proper material. For safety reasons, we will not connect a dryer vent to any existing vinyl duct work.
  • Built In and Gas Appliances: The following appliances and or service are considered "built in" and will not be installed or connected by our delivery team. Arrangements can be made with your salesperson to have pre-approved built-in appliances installed which include dishwashers, built-in microwaves, built-in refrigerators, cooktops, hoods, wall ovens, warming drawers, disposals, gas dryers, gas ranges and water lines.

Best Appliance & Kitchens will not under any circumstances install an appliance in a home that does not meet current building codes. unsanitary conditions or potential health hazards may be grounds to reuse to fulfill services.

Waiver of Damages When Working With Water

You understand the machinery that’s being worked on is connected with the building’s plumbing system, and whenever any machinery is so connected, there is an inherent risk that component failure, imperfect connections and/or other faults could result in unintended leakage and/or flooding within the building, causing significant and sometimes catastrophic damage. Except for cases of gross, clearly proven, and explicitly identifiable negligence by the technician, you promise to hold harmless both the installers and Best Appliance & Kitchens, its principals, agents and employees from any and all damages, harms or liability that may result from such an occurrence. By allowing the technician to commence work, you explicitly waive the right to any contrary claim.
