Neighbor recommended after owning SQ for 5 years. We bought as had aging w/d and wanted to purchase before tariffs took effect. It is taking a minute to get used to as I primarily wash yoga wear, delicates and P7 leaves things a little more wet than used to. For household towels, sheets and husband's office wear and jeans, it does admiral job. For grandkids daily swim did fantastic job on the towels and swimsuits.

I can throw my "closet wrinkled " clothes in the dryer, set the steam refresh and within minutes, my clothes come out looking fresh and wrinkle free. User tip- put a few clothing pieces in when using the steam refresh option. It improves the tumbling.

Great except for one annoyance

I finally bought the laundry pair of my dreams only to learn there is one thing about the washing machine that is incredibly annoying. If you do not completely dilute fabric softener in the dispenser, AFTER the load is completely finished, it runs out from the cylinder underneath the clothing. It doesn't even do it when it is still running, it doesn't it afterwards. In the pictures you will see the runs, and no smears at all from the spin cycle. This shows it happens only after the load is complete. It doesn't do it when the softener is diluted 50/50, which is bizarre to me. I didn't even have this issue on my entry level whirlpool set. I expected better from speed queen, so for this art, I am disappointed and customer service was little help on it.

Went for the best and door latch broke on first

I bought this new from a dealership. It was an open box. Installation was good. The first time I used the machine, it time, but he had to order the part. was making a noise that I thought did not sound right. I called the dealership, and they contacted an appliance repair. That person came in a good time, but he had to order a part. Once that was fixed, I have had no more problems. I was disappointed that I had trouble on a new machine, but I was glad it was remedied quickly.

I'm still leaning into the dryer when it goes on extended cycle as clothes come out damp, I think it's adding steam to remove wrinkles, but otherwise works as designed and loving the pet hair feature where it also adds some steam to help remove prior to putting in the washing machine.

I was told to send a written message on the washer for info regarding my first 2 washes (after the empty wash) caused permanently white creases on my blue jeans. I did and they never responded other than to ask me to give a review. Ok. I am. My GE washer never hurt the same jeans! On the dryer, even tho I set it to dry the clothes "dry" they still feel damp. My kitchen aid dryer always completely dried the clothes. I chose speed queen because they have a long warranty but what a hassle!

We have been using this machine about a month and couldn't be happier. Clothes come out per the settings you select. Even our most delicate clothes, that we avoided drying in a machine before, come out without shrinking. We see a clear difference in how good the clothes look without ironing. Clothes do not get dry at the recommended settings, and I'm still figuring out the best cycles to use for various loads. It will only be worth the extra cost if it lasts as long as advertised.

Great for pet hair removal.

Dryer Performance

This dryer is excellent. i have owned it for a year and a half and it works like new. I have never had a problem. I particularly like the mist refresh feature to remove wrinkles when dry clothes are not promptly removed. The lint trap is convenient and easy to keep clean. A used dryer sheet is excellent to grab and remove the lint when you remove the dry clothesm making cleanup quick and easy.
